Medicinal plant are mostly found in various home garden in Bangladesh. Tropical home gardens consist of an assemblage of plants, which may include trees, shrubs, vines, and herbaceous plants, growing in or adjacent to a homestead or home compound.

Advantages:

2. Farmers have easy access to food, timber, fuel, fodder, spices, and medicine
3. Home garden protect the soil and conserve water
4. Labor can be used efficiently because home gardens are situated close to houses
